  1. Hi Ceci,

I recently came across your post on the Coetail group, eLearning to Support ELLs, where you shared your presentation from the UWCSEA. I checked it out and loved your sessions!
The one thing that really stood out to me was the idea of having a split screen on the Ipad. I had no idea that was possible! I immediately went and tried it out on an IPad and found that it was easy to do. Having a split screen will be very useful for our beginner ELL students when they are still very reliant on translating using Google translate, being able to refer to text when answering questions, using a checklist etc. I will definitely be using this feature with my students!

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Disha,

Thank you so much for your great feedback! I love that the feature worked well for you and yours ELLs, and that you’re exploring the different ways it can support language development and foster bilingualism. I’d love to hear more about how else you’ve used it. Please keep sharing the impact eTools can have on language acquisition as it can benefit all 🙂
